| Description: A three member team from International Potato Centre (CIP), Lima, Peru paid a visit to Krishi Gobeshona Foundation (KGF) on 07 March 2018. Dr. Wais Kabir, Executive Director, KGF welcomed the valued visitors at the KGF, BARC campus, Farmgate, Dhaka. A meeting was organized to exchange views with the delegations of CIP and KGF professionals. The discussion initiated with a brief power-point presentation on CIP on-going activities especially on sweet potato by Dr. Simon Heck, Program Leader, Sweet Potato, CIP-Ugand Office. Dr. Kabir recognized the role of CIP on potato and sweet potato research for development in addressing food and nutritional security in Bangladesh. He urged the importance the function of CIP in strengthening the global potato research management in the years to approach. Dr. Wais Kabir thanked the team members for making valuable time to visit KGF. |
